Our Journey
Asha Vidya Mandir began its journey as Little Icons, established in 1997. Over more than two decades, the school built a reputation for caring, child-centred early education in Dhanora, Bhilai.
In 2023, Little Icons was rebranded as Asha Vidya Mandir, reflecting a broader vision for value-based, activity-driven education from Nursery to Class 8 — while continuing the same founding philosophy of love, care, and joyful learning.
The school is founded and led by Mrs. Rita Sharma, who brings 26+ years of teaching experience and continues to guide its educational philosophy today.

Classes We Offer
Asha Vidya Mandir offers classes from Nursery to Class 8. Each class is designed to help children learn in a fun, caring, and safe way. We focus on building a strong base in all subjects while also encouraging creativity, good values, and confidence.
Nursery & Kindergarten (KG-I & KG-II)
We make learning fun through games, stories, rhymes, art, and play activities. Children learn letters, numbers, colors, and basic life skills.
Primary Classes (Class 1 to 5)
In these classes, children learn subjects like English, Hindi, Maths, EVS, and General Knowledge. We focus on reading, writing, and thinking skills through activities and projects.
Middle School (Class 6 to 8)
At this level, students explore more subjects like Science, Social Studies, and Computers. We help them think deeply, ask questions, and prepare for higher studies with confidence.
